Dutchie POS Sync Setup

Step-by-step guide to connecting and syncing your Dutchie POS system with ReUp.

Overview

The Dutchie integration enables:

  • Real-time inventory synchronization
  • Automatic stock level updates
  • Product catalog import
  • Sales data analysis

Prerequisites

  • Active Dutchie POS account
  • Dutchie API credentials (from Dutchie support)
  • ReUp retailer account

Step 1: Obtain Dutchie API Credentials

  1. Contact Dutchie support or your account manager
  2. Request API access for ReUp integration
  3. You'll receive:
    • API Key
    • Location ID(s)
    • API endpoint URL

Step 2: Connect in ReUp

  1. Log in to ReUp
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Click Dutchie
  4. Enter your credentials:
    API Key: your-api-key-here
    Location ID: your-location-id
  5. Click Test Connection
  6. If successful, click Save

Step 3: Configure Sync Settings

Sync Frequency

Sync Direction

  • Dutchie → ReUp: Recommended for retailers
  • Bidirectional: For advanced use cases

Data to Sync

Select what to synchronize:

  • Products and variants
  • Inventory levels
  • Categories
  • Pricing
  • Customer data (optional)
  • Sales transactions (optional)

Step 4: Initial Sync

  1. Go to Inventory > Sync Status
  2. Click Run Initial Sync
  3. Monitor progress:
    • Products imported: X/Y
    • Inventory levels: X/Y
    • Categories: X/Y
  4. Wait for completion (may take 5-30 minutes)

Step 5: Verify Sync

  1. Go to Inventory > Products
  2. Compare with Dutchie dashboard
  3. Verify:
    • Product counts match
    • Inventory levels are accurate
    • Pricing is correct

Troubleshooting

Connection Failed

  • Verify API credentials are correct
  • Check if Dutchie API is experiencing downtime
  • Ensure your IP is whitelisted (if required)

Products Missing

  • Check category mappings
  • Verify products are active in Dutchie
  • Review sync logs for errors

Inventory Mismatch

  • Run a manual sync
  • Check for pending Dutchie transactions
  • Review audit trail for discrepancies

Sync Monitoring

Monitor ongoing syncs at Integrations > Dutchie > Sync Log

Advanced Configuration

Webhook Setup (Optional)

For instant updates when inventory changes in Dutchie:

  1. Contact Dutchie support
  2. Request webhook configuration
  3. Provide ReUp webhook URL:
    https://api.reup.com/webhooks/dutchie/inventory

Multi-Location Sync

For multiple retail locations:

  1. Add each location separately
  2. Map Dutchie Location IDs to ReUp locations
  3. Configure sync settings per location
