Retailer Onboarding

Complete guide for cannabis retail dispensaries to get started with ReUp.

Overview

As a retailer on ReUp, you can:

  • Sync inventory from your Dutchie POS in real-time
  • Browse and order products from verified wholesalers
  • Track orders and manage deliveries
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations
  • Analyze inventory performance and trends

Account Setup

1. Create Your Account

  1. Contact sales@reup.com to request access
  2. Complete the verification process (license verification)
  3. Set up your login credentials
  4. Enable two-factor authentication (recommended)

2. Configure Your Retail Locations

For each retail location:

  1. Go to Settings > Locations
  2. Click Add Location
  3. Enter:
    • Location name
    • Street address
    • State license number
    • Contact information
  4. Repeat for additional locations

3. Set Up Rooms

ReUp supports different inventory room types:

Room TypePurpose
Sales FloorCustomer-facing inventory
VaultSecure storage
QuarantineProducts pending inspection
Secret MenuSpecial items (not publicly listed)

To configure rooms:

  1. Go to Inventory > Room Configuration
  2. Map your physical rooms to ReUp room types
  3. Set capacity limits (optional)

Dutchie Integration

Connecting Your POS

  1. Navigate to Integrations > Dutchie
  2. Enter your Dutchie credentials:
    • API Key
    • Location ID(s)
  3. Click Connect

Sync Configuration

Configure how inventory syncs:

  • Sync Frequency: Real-time, hourly, or daily
  • Sync Direction: Dutchie → ReUp (recommended for retailers)
  • Conflict Resolution: How to handle discrepancies

Initial Sync

The first sync imports all your:

  • Products and variants
  • Current inventory levels
  • Product categories
  • Pricing information

Daily Operations

Morning Workflow (9 AM)

  1. Run Morning Count: Verify opening inventory
  2. Check Sync Status: Ensure overnight syncs completed
  3. Review Alerts: Check low-stock and expiration alerts

Evening Workflow (4:30 PM)

  1. Run Evening Analysis: Review day's sales
  2. Generate Replenishment: Create suggested orders
  3. Prepare for Tomorrow: Update inventory projections

Placing Orders

Browse Marketplace

  1. Go to Marketplace > Browse Products
  2. Filter by:
    • Product category
    • Wholesaler
    • Price range
    • Availability
  3. Add items to cart

Submit Order

  1. Review cart contents
  2. Select delivery date/time
  3. Choose payment terms
  4. Submit order

Track Delivery

  1. Go to Orders > Active Orders
  2. View order status and ETA
  3. Receive delivery notifications

Compliance

METRC Integration

For states requiring METRC compliance:

  1. Go to Integrations > METRC
  2. Enter your METRC API credentials
  3. Enable automatic manifest generation
  4. Configure package tracking

Audit Trail

All inventory movements are logged:

  • Who made the change
  • When it occurred
  • What changed
  • Supporting documentation
